We are giving away this fine little christmas special, all exclusive material. The mixes used for this album doesn’t even exist any more, the went to pieces in a little computer crash we had the great fortune of being a part of.
On top of that it includes a cover of The Beach Boys christmas epic “Morning Christmas”.
Go ahead and download it, spread it as you like, love it as you might.
We wish you a merry christmas and a very happy 2010!
After the loudness

We had the good fortune and the great honor of sharing forty minutes on stage with Fritte Vislander and Robert Van Der Zwan in addition to our regular fantastic comrades in the band. Hopefully we’ll do it again, on a bigger stage with better sound and better organization.
We weren’t all that happy with the way the night developed. There was supposed to be two bands playing that night, us and one more. Turns out the guy had brought in a total of five bands. We knew that things were going to get late, and our original time at 10pm wasn’t happening at all.
We sat around a big table and talked about everything and nothing for about 2½ hours, got up on the teeny-weeny stage and tried to ignore the terrible sound. The highlite was a tanked guy dancing, singing along while undressing in front of the stage. Guards came to escort him elsewhere.
That was about it, and we concluded that we have to stop this “playing for free” shit – it only put us in these kind of badly thought through places.
Loud & Alive at Southside 25/11

We played an acoustic little gig on this place, and apparently we did good because they want us to come back. So we’re coming back.
The date to save is 25/11, and the time is 9 pm-ish.
All the information can be found in the calendar [click here]
We’ll also have the great honor of being in the same band as Robert Van Der Zwan (bass) and Fredrik Vislander (guitar).
Hope to see you there!
Greatness under the radar

Emitt Rhodes – “Promises I’ve Made” (YouTube)
This is the song we’re doing for the tribute album, and this man has such a large collection of classic songs it’s ridiculous that he’s not a superstar.
The McCartney vibe is good enough to ignore, and the songs are great as they are, and even more impressive is that he played it all himself. I really hope that this album sets some light on Mr Rhodes.
If you’re equipped with Spotify you can listen to a sort of greatest hits album: “The Emitt Rhodes Recordings (1969-1973)“.
Time vs band

We have tried to finish up the mixing part of the production for a good part of this last year now, and you probably don’t even believe us when we say that there really is a record on the way… It’s so close to being done we can almost taste it, and at the same time it seems that time is running away from us like a scared little child.
It’ll be good fun being on the Emitt Rhodes tribute, he wrote some great songs!
